Bo is a computer scientist mostly interested in Data Mining, Evolutionary Computation, Global Optimization and Parallel Computing. He received the B.E. degree from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, P.R. China, in 1998, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from The University of Queensland, Australia, in 2002 and 2006 respectively. From 2006 to 2007, he was a Research Officer on a project funded by the Australian Research Council at The University of Queensland.
He is currently an Associate Professor (Lecturer: 07/2007 - 12/2009) in the Division of Informatics, Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University, P.R. China, and a member of the Intelligent Computing Lab. He is also a member of the IEEE and the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society.
